Privacy Notice
Your privacy is important to us. Through this Privacy Notice, we want to explain our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used by Money Group, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our“). This Notice describes how and why we collect, store, use, and/or share (“process“) your information when you use our services (“Services“), including websites that we own or operate, our email newsletters, and any other applications and services owned and operated by us.
This Privacy Notice only applies to properties we own and operate and does not cover any information collected via any other website, application, or service. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or privacy practices of third parties. By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice.
Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions, please contact us via email at [email protected].

YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
We sell and share personal information for targeted advertising. Under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and other state privacy laws, you have the right to opt out. To exercise that right:
- Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page; or
- Email [email protected]; or
- Enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or extension — we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing for the browser or device that sends it.
You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and limit the use of your sensitive personal information.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information Collected About You
Personal data is any information that personally identifies you or from which you could be identified either directly or indirectly. We may collect your personal data through your use of the Services or during interactions with our representatives, either:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us;
- Automatically as you use the Services; and
- From third parties, such as our business partners, advertising partners, and data providers.
The personal data that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use, but may include the following:
- User Contributions — Information you provide to be posted or displayed on public areas of the Services, or transmitted to other users of the Services and third parties, such as customer comments and reviews. Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Please be aware that information you post may be viewed or captured by anyone who visits the Services, therefore you should avoid posting any personal data that you would not want to be available to the public.
- Contact Data — We may collect personal and/or business contact information including your first name, last name, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, email address and other similar data and identifiers.
- Financial and Application Data — When you request a quote, rate, or referral through our Services (for example, for a loan, credit card, insurance policy, or other financial product), we may collect information such as your date of birth, self-reported income, self-reported credit rating or credit score range, employment status, property or vehicle information, coverage preferences, and other details needed to match you with a provider. We do not request or knowingly store full Social Security numbers, full account numbers, or government-issued ID numbers through our Services.
- Location Data — We collect geolocation data when you enable location-based services or when you choose to provide location-related information when interacting with our Services.
- Demographic Data — We may collect certain demographic data including, for example, country, state, ZIP code, gender, age, preferred language, and general interest data.
- Preferences — We collect information about your preferences and interests as they relate to our Services (both when you tell us what they are and when we deduce them from what we know about you) and how you prefer to receive communications from us.
- Call Recordings and Call Data — Certain phone numbers displayed on our Services are tracking numbers that connect you to an advertising partner. When you place or receive such a call, we and/or our telephony providers collect call metadata (such as the number called, caller ID, date, time, duration, and the page or advertisement the number appeared on), and calls may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, compliance, and fraud-prevention purposes where permitted by law and, where required, with notice and consent at the start of the call.
- Social Media Data — We may provide social media features that enable you to share information with your social networks and to interact with us on various social media sites. Your use of these features may result in the collection or sharing of information about you, depending on the feature. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings on the social media sites you use.
- Other Unique Identifying Information — We also receive information when submitted in other ways, such as if you participate in a focus group, contest, activity or event, apply for a job, enroll in an educational program, request support, interact with our social media accounts or otherwise communicate with us.
Information Automatically Collected
We and our third-party partners and service providers may automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services through the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, SDKs, and other data collection and tracking technologies). We and our third-party partners and service providers may also collect and track information about your online activities over time and across different websites, applications, and devices using certain data matching techniques and processes.
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, for our internal analytics and reporting purposes, to help us understand how our users use the Services, to measure advertising and referral performance, and to target advertising messages to you. It also helps us improve our Services to deliver a better and more personalized service, including allowing us to estimate our audience size and usage patterns; store information about your preferences; speed up your searches; and recognize you when you return to our Services.
The information collected automatically when you visit the Services may include your IP address, details about your operating system, browser and system settings, and clickstream data (which shows the page-by-page path you take as you navigate the Services). Examples include:
- Website Browsing Data — We collect information about your visits to and your activity on our websites, applications, or websites “powered by” another company on our behalf, including the content (and any ads) that you view and interact with, the address of the website from which you arrived, and other clickstream behavior (such as the pages you view or the links you click).
- Click and Referral Data — When you click a link to an advertising partner, we generate a unique click identifier and record the click, the page and placement it came from, the partner destination, your device and browser characteristics, and any resulting outcome the partner reports back to us (such as whether an application was started or completed). We use this data to measure performance, calculate compensation, detect fraud and non-human traffic, and improve our Services.
- Anonymous or Aggregated Data — We collect anonymous answers to surveys and anonymous and aggregated information about how our Services are used. In certain cases, we apply a process of de-identification or pseudonymization to your data to make it reasonably unlikely to identify you through the use of that data with available technology.
- Log and Usage Data — Service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files, including internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks.
- Device Data — Information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the Services, which may include your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.
- Location Data — Information about your device’s location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use. For example, we may derive your approximate location from your IP address. You can opt out either by refusing access to the information or by disabling the Location setting on your device; if you choose to opt out, you may not be able to use certain aspects of the Services.
Information from Third-Party Sources
We collect data from the following third parties:
- Data brokers, social media networks, and advertising networks — Commercially available data such as name, address, email address, preferences, interests, and certain demographic data. For example, personal data may be collected when you access our applications through social media logins.
- Advertising and financial partners — Partners to whom we refer you may report back to us information about the outcome of that referral, such as whether you submitted an application, were approved, or completed a purchase, together with the identifier we assigned to your click.
- Analytics providers — We also receive data, such as aggregated or de-identified demographic/profile data, from third-party sources including select partners and companies that specialize in providing enterprise data, analytics, and software as a service.
In order to ensure data accuracy and offer a superior customer experience by providing you with better personalized services, content, marketing, and ads, in some cases we link or combine the information that we collect from the different sources outlined above with the information we collect directly from you. For example, we may compare geographic information acquired from commercial sources with your IP address to derive your general geographic area. Information may also be linked via a unique identifier, such as a cookie or click identifier.
Sensitive Personal Information
Some of the information you voluntarily provide when requesting a financial product quote or referral — such as a self-reported credit rating or credit score range, income, or, in limited cases, precise geolocation — may be treated as “sensitive personal information” or “sensitive data” under certain state privacy laws.
We use and disclose this information only for the purposes of performing the service you requested (such as matching you to a provider), preventing fraud, ensuring security, and complying with law.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. In connection with fulfilling a quote or referral request you submit, we may disclose certain sensitive personal information — such as a self-reported income range, credit rating range, or date of birth — to advertising marketplaces and product providers under compensated arrangements. These disclosures may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under state privacy law. You may direct us to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information at any time via our Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information page or by emailing [email protected].
Where a state law requires opt-in consent before processing sensitive data, we obtain that consent at the point of collection. To make a request regarding your sensitive personal information, email [email protected].
If You Choose Not to Share
You are not required to share the personal data that we request; however, if you choose not to share the information, in some cases we will not be able to provide you with the Services, certain specialized features, or be able to effectively respond to any inquiries you may have.
AUTOMATIC TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
To manage our automatic data collection, we, and our third-party partners and service providers, use cookies and similar technologies on our sites to collect information that helps us improve the quality of our sites and the online experience of our visitors and users.
Cookies
Cookies are pieces of information that are transferred to your device from a web server. They help us recognize repeat visitors, improve the quality of the Services, and keep them secure by allowing us to detect activity that might violate our Terms of Use. For more information about cookies, you may visit allaboutcookies.org. If you limit the ability of the Services to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience and/or lose the ability to access parts of the Services.
Web Beacons
Our Services and other electronic communications such as email and SMS may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that allow us to collect website-related statistics, such as the number of users who have visited certain pages or opened an email.
We also use third-party web analytics services, such as Google Analytics, on the Services to provide us with statistics and other information about visitors.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If you visit our Services with a browser or extension transmitting a GPC signal, we treat that signal as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising for that browser or device. Because a GPC signal is browser- and device-specific and is generally stored in a cookie, you will need to enable it on each browser and device you use, and re-apply it if you clear your cookies. If you have an account with us and are logged in when the signal is received, we will also apply the opt-out to that account.
Separately, most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a “Do-Not-Track” (“DNT”) feature. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, and we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
HOW WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION
We process your personal data for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
- To fulfill or meet the reason for which the information is provided, including connecting you with the advertising partner or product provider you selected;
- To provide, support, personalize, and develop our Services;
- To improve our Services and present their contents to you;
- To provide personalized promotional offers (in accordance with your privacy preferences) about the Services through email, SMS, third-party platforms, and other selected partner websites;
- To provide you with email alerts and other notices concerning our Services, or events or news, that may be of interest to you;
- To personalize your experience and to deliver content and product and service offerings relevant to criteria like your interests and location, including targeted offers and ads through our Services, third-party sites, and via email or text message (with your consent, where required by law);
- To create inferences and profiles about your likely interests, product preferences, and characteristics, in order to rank, recommend, and personalize the offers and content we show you and to measure advertising effectiveness;
- To measure and reconcile referrals, conversions, and compensation payable to or by us and our partners and publishers;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, automated, or invalid traffic and activity;
- When necessary, to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Services;
- To identify usage trends, determine the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and to evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience;
- As necessary or appropriate to exercise, establish, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our clients, or others;
- To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Services, databases and other technology assets, and business;
- To comply with any relevant laws, regulations, ordinances, rules, directives, statutes, or other legal obligations;
- To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations;
- For other purposes that are disclosed at the time you provide your information, with your consent.
If information is aggregated or de-identified so that it is no longer reasonably associated with an identified or identifiable natural person, we may use it for any business purpose. Where we maintain de-identified information, we will maintain and use it in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law.
HOW WE STORE & KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
Our retention periods are determined by the type of data and the purpose for which it is held. As general guidance: inquiry, quote, and referral records are retained for up to seven (7) years to support partner reconciliation, dispute resolution, and legal and financial recordkeeping; click, impression, and web analytics records are retained for up to twenty-five (25) months in identifiable form and thereafter in aggregated or de-identified form; call recordings and call metadata are retained for up to twenty-four (24) months; marketing subscription records are retained until you unsubscribe and thereafter only as needed to honor your opt-out; and records of privacy rights requests are retained for at least twenty-four (24) months as required by law.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We permit certain third parties to collect your personal data through our Services, and we may share personal data with third parties for business and commercial purposes as described in this Privacy Notice, including providing advertising on our Services and elsewhere based on users’ online activities over time and across different sites, services, and devices. The information practices of these third parties are not covered by this Privacy Notice, and your personal data will be handled according to the privacy policies of those companies, which may differ from our own policies and practices.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Certain of our advertising, analytics, and lead-referral activities constitute a “sale” of personal information or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising / “targeted advertising” as those terms are defined under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other state privacy laws — including where we disclose your contact and inquiry information to an advertising partner in exchange for compensation, and where we allow advertising technology providers to collect identifiers and browsing activity through our Services.
We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we actually know are under 16 years of age. We do not sell or share sensitive personal information. To opt out, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, email [email protected], or send a Global Privacy Control signal.
Note that if you affirmatively request a quote, rate, or referral from a specific provider, we will transmit the information you submitted to that provider in order to fulfill your request, and an opt-out of sale/sharing does not prevent that transmission. Once transmitted, that provider’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

SERVICE PROVIDERS
We may share your information with third-party service providers to support our internal and business operations. In such cases, service providers may use the information only as necessary to provide the services to us and are contractually required to keep your information confidential and secure. Examples include website and application development, hosting, data storage, maintenance, delivery of emails (including promotional, marketing, and transactional materials), delivery of other promotional materials including postal mailers and SMS and text messaging, telephony and call-tracking services, and online and social media promotions and advertising. These service providers or partners may be located in the US or in other global locations and may provide services such as content personalization, advertising and marketing activities (including digital and personalized advertising), IT services, email services, data hosting, or general support and maintenance of our websites. Our service providers and partners are required by contract to safeguard any personal data they receive from us and are prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing the personal data for any purpose other than performing the services as instructed by us.
ADVERTISING PARTNERS
When you report a complaint about an Advertising Partner featured on our Services, we may share your submission with that Advertising Partner. As applicable, we may share your information with our Advertising Partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions. We may also share information about you with Advertising Partners (including the ad networks, ad-serving companies, and other service providers they may use) to present advertisements that might interest you on other sites or mobile applications. The information may include your name, address, email, or other identifier. Some of these disclosures are made in exchange for compensation and therefore constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under state privacy laws — see “Sale and Sharing of Personal Information” above for how to opt out.
As described in this Privacy Notice, we and third parties may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information and infer your interests for interest-based advertising purposes. If you would prefer to not receive personalized ads based on your browser or device usage, you may generally opt out of interest-based advertising by clicking here. Please note that you will continue to see advertisements, but such advertisements will no longer be tailored to your interests. For more information about third-party ad networks and services that use these technologies, you can visit youradchoices.com and click here to opt out or to learn more about your options. You also may visit the NAI’s site for additional options on how to opt out of interest-based advertising. These industry opt-outs are cookie-based and are separate from the state-law opt-out described above.
OTHER THIRD PARTIES
We also may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
- Affiliates. We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Notice. Affiliates include our parent company and any subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us.
- Business Transfers. We may share, transfer, or assign your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, a corporate transaction, such as a divestiture, merger, consolidation, asset sale, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company, or in the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership.
- Compliance with Law. We may also share your personal data when we believe, in good faith, that we have an obligation to: (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of law enforcement agencies, regulators, courts, and other public authorities; (ii) comply with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; (iii) investigate and help prevent security threats, fraud, or other criminal or malicious activity; (iv) enforce or protect our rights and the properties of our subsidiaries; or (v) protect the rights or personal safety of our staff.
INTERNATIONAL WEBSITE VISITORS
The Services are hosted in the United States and are intended solely for visitors located within the United States. The information we provide and the third-party products and services featured are tailored for the United States market only. Information we collect through the Services will be transferred to and stored on our servers in the United States. By using the Services, you acknowledge the transfer and processing of your personal data in the United States as described in this Privacy Notice. Please be aware that the data protection laws and regulations applicable to your personal data transferred to the United States may be different from the laws in your country of residence.
CHILDREN
Our Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we actually know are under 16 years of age. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 — or from a minor under 18 — please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS & SUBSCRIPTIONS
If you choose to opt in to receive marketing communications from us, we may use your information to contact you about our own and third parties’ goods and services that may be of interest to you. Marketing communications may include new product or service information, special offers, personalized content, targeted advertising, or invitations to participate in market research or compliance reviews. Subscription communications include email newsletters, product updates, and similar messages that you expressly requested or consented to receive. You may opt out of receiving these communications by:
- Selecting the email’s “Opt out” or “Unsubscribe” link, or following the instructions included in each email subscription communication; or
- Replying “STOP” or “END” to unsubscribe from messages delivered to mobile phones; or
- Emailing [email protected].
You will then be removed from the marketing lists. However, we may still communicate with you — for example, to send you service-related messages that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
Some content or applications on the Services are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks, ad servers, content providers, and application providers. The Services may also link to third-party websites, online services, or mobile applications and/or contain advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us. Accordingly, we do not make any guarantee regarding any such third parties, and we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of such third-party websites, services, or applications. The inclusion of a link to a third-party website, service, or application does not imply an endorsement by us. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this Privacy Notice. You should review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly with your questions.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right to know / access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
- Right to delete — to request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Right to correct — to request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Right to data portability — to obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format;
- Right to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising — see “Your Privacy Choices” at the top of this Notice;
- Right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information;
- Right to opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about consumers; we do not approve, decline, or price financial products.

- Right to appeal — if we decline your request, you may appeal (see below).
How to Submit a Request
Submit a request by emailing [email protected], by using our privacy request page, or by writing to the address in “Contact Us” below.
Verification. To protect your information, we must verify your identity before fulfilling an access, deletion, correction, or portability request. We will generally ask you to provide the email address, phone number, or other identifiers we already hold, and to confirm ownership of that email address. We will not use information you provide for verification for any other purpose.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide written permission signed by you and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us, except where the agent provides a valid power of attorney.
Timing. We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days and respond substantively within forty-five (45) calendar days. If we need more time, we will notify you and may extend by up to an additional forty-five (45) days.

If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond to your appeal in writing within forty-five (45) days (sixty (60) days in Colorado and Connecticut), including a written explanation of the reasons for our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General to submit a complaint.
Under certain circumstances we may not be able to fulfill your request — for example, where it conflicts with our regulatory or legal obligations, where we cannot verify your identity, or where an exception under applicable law applies. In every case we will explain our reasoning.
All requests regarding any personal information about you that we have obtained or received for processing on behalf of a separate, unaffiliated entity should be made to that entity directly. We will honor and support any instructions they provide us with respect to your personal information.
